FAQ

Pricing questions

Is Optiq really free right now?

Yes. During the beta, Pro is completely free with no limits. You just bring your own Voyage and Groq API keys for embedding and inference.

What happens when beta ends?

We'll introduce paid plans with fair pricing. You'll get plenty of notice before anything changes, and there will always be a free tier.

Why do I need my own API keys?

Optiq uses Voyage for embeddings and Groq for inference. During beta, bringing your own keys keeps the product free for everyone.

What counts as a line indexed?

Every line of source code in your repository. Comments, blank lines, and non-code files are excluded from the count.

What integrations are supported?

Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, JetBrains, Neovim, and any tool that supports MCP servers, plus a standalone CLI.

How does enterprise pricing work?

Enterprise pricing depends on team size, deployment model, support needs, and whether you want managed provider access. Contact sales for a quote.
