Optiq Is Now in Public Beta
No waitlist. No credit card. Full product access for every developer, starting today.
What's Changing
Until today, Optiq was invite-only. You signed up, joined a waitlist, and waited for approval. That's done. Starting now, anyone can create an account and get full access to the entire product immediately.
Everything is free during the beta. Unlimited repositories, unlimited indexing, unlimited queries. You bring your own Voyage and Groq API keys, and the full platform is yours.
What You Get
Context Engine
Semantic code search across your entire codebase. Natural language queries, real-time indexing, near-perfect retrieval accuracy across every language.
MCP Server & CLI
Drop Optiq into Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, JetBrains, or Neovim. Or use the CLI directly. Your codebase context, wherever you work.
Team Collaboration
Shared repositories, team-wide indexing, and collaborative search. Everyone on your team sees the same codebase context.
Real-Time Indexing
Every save, every branch switch, every pull. The index stays current with your code on disk. No stale results, no manual reindexing.
Why BYOK
Optiq uses Voyage AI for embeddings and Groq for inference. During the beta, you provide your own API keys for both. This keeps the product free for everyone without compromising on quality or speed.
When we move out of beta, we'll offer managed keys as part of paid plans. But there will always be a free tier, and BYOK will always be an option.
What's Next
Beta is where we move fast. We're shipping improvements to the context engine, expanding language support, and building out the features that make Optiq indispensable for teams. Your feedback shapes what we build next.
If you run into issues, have ideas, or just want to tell us what's working, reach out. We read everything.
Get Started
Create an account, add your API keys, and index your first repository. That's it. You'll be searching your codebase in under a minute.
